A glimpse of Linh An Pagoda

 

Linh An pagoda is located on a hill nearby Elephant waterfalls in Nam Ban Town, Lam Ha District, Lam Dong Province, about 30km from Da Lat City. When you arrive here may feel that you are lost in the paradise in the land of poetic.

To reach Linh An self-travelers have to cross a rough road, starting from the road to Camly waterfall, running through Van Thanh flower village, Ta Nung pass and the town of Nam Ban. The temple was originally a small Buddhist shrine to worship Buddhas, but due to the increasing demand for Buddhism, in 1957 the temple was officially named Linh An.

The total area of Linh An pagoda is 1457 square meters. Inside the main hall, there are 5 tall statues of 7.5m molded by cement-shaped Buddhas
The largest Buddha statue is located behind the temple.

Outside of the temple is the largest Maitreya Buddha statue in Lam Dong, 12.5m high, built in 2000. Behind the Buddha statue is a 15-room house that serves as a place for Buddhist activities

The road from Da Lat to Linh An Pagoda - Elephant Waterfall you will also go through the slope passes, green pine forest, coffee gardens, blooming gardens. Coming to Ta Nung Commune, Nam Ban Town, you will come to the K'Ho Indigenous people, where you can experience the culture, customs here.
