Dang Viet Nga was the daughter of the late Secretary-General Truong Chinh, who studied at the elementary school for Vietnamese children in China, then went to Russia to study architecture at the Moscow University. She returned to Hanoi to live and work. In 1982, she left Hanoi to live in Da Lat and began to build this Hang Nga villa.
