On July 19, 1931, Da Lat Chicken Church has officially started construction, the construction was divided into 3 periods and built for 11 years. Until January 25, 1942, the church was officially completed.

The architecture of the church is designed according to the Roman Catholic churches in Europe, which is a typical architectural style in Roman architecture.

The base of the church is designed in the shape of the cross, length 65m, 14m wide and the bell tower up to 47m. If you stand on the tower, you can see the panoramic city center, Langbiang Mountain, and other nearby areas.

Inside the cathedral church is divided into 3 compartments, the large room in the middle consists of rows of prayer tables and chairs, the main hall and two compartments on each side with tables and paths. At the ceiling of the church are colored by many colorful glasses bought directly from France to be installed, mirrors reflecting the colors of the light that make the cathedral scene more virtual.

And the reason why the church is called Chicken Church because the top of the bell tower is placed a black bronze statue, this is the mascot symbol of France, Goloa chicken, Not far from the tower about 100m you can clearly see the rooster statue located on the cross of the bell tower.
